Description
St. Mark is known as one of the four Gospel writers. St. Mark is often associated with an image of a lion because it symbolizes courage, and was taken from a vision from the prophet Ezekiel of the four Gospel writers. This 8 inch statue depicts him with a book in hand and a lion laying beside him. St. Mark’s name is embellished at the base. Cold-cast bronze and lightly hand-painted, this statue is a part of the Veronese Collection.
